<p>If, like me, you need to make a lot of <strong>CVS nighly update</strong>, sure you need to create a <strong>cron job</strong> with a simply <strong>bash script</strong>.</p>
<p>If you use <em>cvs -d :pserver:anonymous@yourserver</em> you&#8217;ll asked for a password !!!</p>
<p><strong>DAMN #@#@#²³¼@¹²#@</strong> <img src='http://ansani.it/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif' alt=':(' class='wp-smiley' title="CVS client without password prompt" /> </p>
<p>If you want to really really really automate this operation, you simply use<br />
<em>cvs -d :pserver:anonymous:@yourserver</em> !!!</p>
<p>So remote CVS server think you&#8217;re using a <strong>blank password</strong> <img src='http://ansani.it/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';)' class='wp-smiley' title="CVS client without password prompt" /> </p>
<p>Enjoy,<br />
Salvatore</p>
